(I have a bunch of Hagstroms and they all are great players). These models are becoming more and more sought after, mainly due to the awesome "broomstick"neck, very retro control plate and "Kings Neck" emblem on the rear of the headsstock. These basses were made in Sweden from 1962-1966. Everything works cleanly, with excellent tone.

These basses have a wooden body without any lucite or vinyl like the other similar solids of this vintage. Cosmetically, the bass is in pretty great shape for a 55 year old instrument. Here is a 1965 Hagstrom II bass in fine shape and 100% original and functional.
